So apparently Jerry is willing to tag Dak again in the off season if rumors are to be believed

The 2nd tag is devastating because it pushes the entire balance of negotiations into Dak's hands. Washington ran into it with Cousins and had no choice but to let him leave and he was able to fleece the Vikings on top of it.

I mean it's not surprising news.  Obviously they are willing to franchise him again if it comes to that.  But that doesn't mean they plan no negotiations at all and are just going to tag him.  Yeah, it's on the table, but they'll be trying to work out a deal first.  Dak should be a bit more amicable to the deal they were floating before, while he'll probably heal just fine from his injury, you probably want to get a new deal secured just in case.  Not saying this will result in some hometown discount, just that he may have less hang ups on getting a deal done.

Yeah I love it when the Ravens get Kevin Harlan instead of Ian Eagle. Sadly we usually get Ian Eagle, but at least he's not stuck with Dan Fouts anymore.
