It's all kicking off in the Brazil/Argentina qualifier, not between the players, but between the health officials and match officials. They want to detain the four Argentinian players who play in England for not quarantining after entering Brazil. Apparently the police are also involved.

This all started after match had been going for 10 minutes.

The fact this started after the match does make you think they’ve waited to fuck with Argentina.

Apparently the issue is they lied about being in the U.K. in the last 14 days when they entered the country?

So it seems Argentina were told a few hours ago that they couldn’t play the 4 PL players because they should be quarantining.

CONMEBOL then told Brazil they would dock them points if they didn’t let them play. Cue the game starting, the players being in breach of their Covid regulations (but playing) and the police heading to the pitch.

Jorginho has missed another penalty, and we've only finished with a draw against Switzerland for 2 points in 2 games. Dominated both games but finishing seems to be a real issue.

Still, in 5 days we'll be 3 years undefeated, which is nice.

Brazil are playing a training session game to keep the fans entertained, and apparently it's better than most normal games.

An all-female team of on-field officials will take charge of Saturday's World Cup qualifier between Andorra and England.

Ukraine's Kateryna Monzul will be the referee while compatriots Maryna Striletska and Svitlana Grushko have been named her assistants.

In addition, Stephanie Frappart of France is the video assistant referee.

It will be the first time a senior England men's international match has had all women officials.

Two men are part of the wider officiating team, with Denys Shurman the fourth official and Viktor Matyash the assistant VAR.
