I certainly didn't want the Giants trading a 1st or 2nd round pick in what is still a rebuilding year.  But it feels like they should've been able to get something for a mid to late round pick

It really can't be understated how bad the Giants' WR situation is.  I'd wager there are at least 20-25 teams with a WR4 that is a considerable improvement over any WR on the Giants roster.

By not getting a WR, Joe Schoen's pretty much telling the fanbase he thinks the 6-2 start was a fluke too, and that we may as well just ride it out because it's all house money.

Gotta say I'm impressed with what the Dolphins did with the first rounders they received from SF. One to trade up for Jaylen Waddle, one for Tyreek Hill, and one for Bradley Chubb. Very strong.

Without being able to make a trade, it seems the Giants are gonna have little recourse but to give Golladay one last chance.  For what it's worth, he's said all of the right things in practice.  He sounds motivated and like he really does want to get back out there and not just cash a paycheck.

The issue now is how do you get him involved when his style of play is the complete antithesis of the way the Giants run their offense.  They've attempted to work around the lack of separation by scheming guys open in safe, short routes.  They really don't throw many contested balls.

Golladay's entire game is contested balls, he's not someone you can really scheme open.  Not saying the Giants should be reckless with the ball but you're gonna have to be a little less risk averse and put it up for him downfield a few times.

How is his route running? Is his speed still good? I'd imagine you could open up lanes for Barkley if Jones could hit Golladay deep and at least give the defense pause to consider that as a threat.

Also, lol Snyder - it is well past due for that news

Couldn't tell you any of this.  He loafed in preseason and in turn was effectively benched for the first 3 games before getting hurt.  Hopefully he's motivated now, and the Giants in turn try to actually get something out of their investment.

Also, Joe Schoen said today that he finds it unlikely the Giants will be able to get through the final 9 weeks without having to do another contract restructure to push money into 2023.  And that's just from standard practice squad elevations and signing injury replacements.  So that's another reason they probably couldn't even swing a trade, boy did Gettleman ever massacre this cap.

Big reason he has to sell is the investigations killed off stadium deals. And they need to get a new owner in there to work with Virginia to get the project going again. Nobody will touch Snyder, he's toxic. And they can't possibly stay in that dump in Landover.

Welcome to the TRUTH Social Dome - its got yuuuuuge hot dogs, scantily clad cheerleaders that you can grab, and, a presidential library/university! No RINOs or Libs allowed!
