Meacon Keaton
After all the hoops you need to jump through to start a new F1 team, it'll be interesting to see who the serious parties are for purchasing AlphaTauri. Ferrari are fast, but they were fast last year. Their speed was the least of their worries last year. I feel bad for Lando. I wonder which of the big three he'll sign with when his contract is next up...at the end of '24, I think? I'm happy for Williams. I'm not getting too happy for them yet, but Sargeant and Albon were both consistently Top-10-ish each day, if I'm remembering right. I hope the Aston Martin is legit. Give me Fernando Alonso competing with the top-three teams while Lance continues to be a pay-to-play.
Chris2K
(That's Drugovich, not Massa by the way) Those Seb rumours always sounded a bit far-fetched.

Seb and Alonso driving for the same team does sound a bit romantic to fans though.
Twist
I’d love this see Seb get his 300th drive but he strikes me as the kind of person who will draw a line under his career and won’t let that 299 bother him. Chris2K
The Circuit de Catalunya will revert to its previous format for sector 3, going back to two fast right handers instead of a chicane and a right hander. From a personal perspective I expect this will improve my lap times in Spain on F1 23, because I was terrible at taking that chicane.
METALMAN
I could do that chicane on F1 2020 but not on 21. No idea why.

It has the makings of another Verstappen-led procession.

Chris2K
The Red Bull certainly looks like the best car, so maybe Checo will be able to make a title challenge? Spoiler

Chris2K
As much as my fear of a boring season worries me, the release of the new opening titles still gets me pumped. George and Charles' poses are something else.

Chris2K
There was some hope from FP2 and FP3, and even during Q1 and Q2, but that Red Bull dominance doesn't appear to be a myth. Great that Hulk is right back in the top 10 though.
Chris2K
I have no idea how either Alonso or Stroll don't have major damage after that. Different year, same Stroll.
Twist
Im really interested to see how AM manage Alonso/Stroll if Lance fucks up Alonso’s race multiple times this season. Can’t see Alonso standing for it no matter who’s kid Stroll is. Also, obviously can’t judge a season by 8 laps, but if this is remotely indicative it’s going to be a victory parade from Max from very early on.
