Definitely going to pick up Link's Awakening because I mean seriously, LOOK AT HIM Not sure what to pick up for game 2 though. Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 looks rad, as does Astral Chain. Help me decide, nintenerds. Also if you suggest Fire Emblem I'll ban you. Fire Emblem is the best game of 2019 and it;s not even close! I'm saving my second voucher for Pokemon when that comes out. I was tempted by Astral Chain though.
probablyoliver
It just definitely isn't my kind of game. Astral Chain is definitely right up my street. I adore Platinum as a developer and it looks exactly like the kind of mental anime bullshit that I love. Also it has skill trees and robots, what's not to love. Ultimate Alliance and the X-Men Legends games are some of my all time favourites, and Black Order is apparently more of the same. It's not revolutionary or new or innovative but boy it looks like a blast. I don't think I'm interested in Pokémon. I played through Emerald a few months ago which was the first Pokémon game I played since Blue. I loved it, but I'm in no rush to pick up this new one, even if the British Weezing is super dope. Only other games I'm interested in are Luigi's Mansion, but I'll likely wait until it comes out before deciding, and Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I didn't even know existed until I saw the trailer for the remake/remaster of the first one and now I'll likely wait until I can play that before playing the second one.
lanky316
I have got Ultimate Alliance and it's good. It has found itself relatively unplayed for a while since I started a Fire Emblem kick but I was happy enough with what I played so far. If you liked the older ones I think you'll like this one. Ruki
I wanted to like Xenoblade Chronicles 2... because crazy anime, over the top RPG. But it just didn't do it for me. It felt a bit too RNG heavy for quests, the in battle voices were loud, overlapping and repetitive, and the actual game systems were confusing. Bobfoc
Someone had a broken Joycon and put in a request alongside their repair order for Nintendo support to send back pictures of their favourite animals. And so they did.

DYSI
Anybody play 2k on the Switch? I'm thinking of giving it a try if it's not too much of a drop off.

Not sure if the current one is good, but from everything I've seen from credible sources the first one that got ported over (18, I think?) did nooooooooooot get ported well.
OctoberRaven
Also Call of Cthulhu comes out on the Switch for my birthday. I've already beat it on PC but I'm kinda tempted.

probablyoliver
Went with Link's Awakening and Ultimate Alliance. I still really want to get Astral Chain but from all I've heard Ultimate Alliance is a much bigger time sink and that's exactly what I'm after. probablyoliver
Link's Awakening is ADORABLE! I only played the first 20 minutes or so last night because I was too tired to do more but holy shit, it's bloody lovely.
Ruki
The main portion of Untitled Goose Game is super short. Fun and charming. But short. Looks like there are harder missions after the credits.
Bobfoc
Is the Fire Emblem season pass worth it?
apsham
Short answer; not right now. Mildly longer answer; maybe if you are playing on harder difficulties and the missions they provide would help you since they reward better. Story and character DLC are the next two. Sousa
The last two DLC of Fire Emblem are apparently gonna be a lot more robust (they were in Famitsu which is usually pretty accurate).
