Tottenham make two changes from the side that lost 4-1 to Manchester City last week - defender Jan Vertonghen is in for Fazio while striker Emmanuel Adebayor comes in for Roberto Soldado. Newcastle replace the injured Papiss Cisse with Ayoze Perez in attack.
Tottenham XI: Lloris, Dier, Kaboul, Vertonghen, Rose, Capoue, Mason, Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela, Adebayor.
Newcastle XI: Krul, Janmaat, S.Taylor, Coloccini, Dummett, Sissoko, Anita, Colback, Obertan, Perez, Gouffran.
Burnley make one change with Stephen Ward in for defender Ben Mee. Everton make one change from the side that defeated Aston Villa with striker Samuel Eto'o replacing midfielder Ross Barkley, who starts on the bench.
Burnley XI: Heaton, Trippier, Shackell, Duff, Ward, Kightly, Jones, Arfield, Boyd, Jutkiewicz, Ings.
Everton XI: Howard, Baines, Jagielka, Alcaraz, Coleman, Naismith, McCarthy, Barry, Osman, Eto'o, Lukaku.

Surprised to see Ayoze start. He looks like a real talent but he's so raw in the same breath.

Hopefully he does well and we don't get smashed!

Oh and seeing Kane being used for the Harry equivalent will never, ever get old!

Liverpool this season are just Spurs of last season - excitement at loads of new signings gives way to media slaggings off while the supporters can see some quality. Balotelli is like Soldado (albeit not scoring as much).

Ultimately both teams struggle with losing an amazing player.

And what's more, it is a Nerf post in the transfers thread. Fish in a barrel, Linniker. Fish in a barrel.

As most teams will.

Personally, I think what hurts Liverpool along losing Suarez and Sturridge being out - is this notion that Liverpool played amazing football from the very first game of last season - which wasn't the case. Losing 3-1 to Hull away and following it up with a 5-0 away win at Spurs was the turning point last season - and that was in December. Liverpool started last season better (but with more luck and some kinder fixtures) but they didn't really play all that well on a consistent basis for the first half of the season.

I really don't get Poch's obsession with Ade. Soldado played well last week, the DEMON the DEMON Kane scored a hat trick mid week (where Ade did nothing) and yet he still gets the start. He's just been awful.

Watch him have a blinder today or something now.

Goal for Spurs. Adebayor.

1-1 at Turf Moor too, now. Ings!
