I like this team a lot. I think Lennon works better against teams that aren't likely to sit back against us, but he's still unlucky to miss out. Really hope a front 4 of Lamela, Eriksen, Kane & Soldado can produce today.

It seemed like the idea was to get in better crossers of the ball (Luis and Shirley) and another target man in the box (Drogba).

Of course, knowing how Newcastle tend to receive ex-players, Remy would have been booed by everyone at the ground and then Coloccini would have kicked him in the face.

Will Mourinho make some reference to the fact that Chelsea had to play on Wednesday and then the early Saturday game too and how that's ridiculous? After all Newcastle had that whole extra day to recover since the midweek game? He's used that line quite a lot in the past, but not on Wednesday night when they played on the Saturday and we played the Sunday....
