Don't forget that tonight one Sky Sports 1, at 10pm, there is a program about the last team to lift the Premiership trophy at Anfield.

God Bless Blackburn Rovers in 94/95!

And at 5am tomorrow morning on the same channel, there is a programme reminiscing about the Newcastle 1969 Fairs Cup winning team!

Good news! Fighting Talk will have two new hosts in Georgie Thompson and Josh Widdicombe.

Bad news! The new schedule will see Adrian Chiles and Peter Allen host a new mid-morning programme, 5 live Daily, and a new afternoon show on every day but Friday. Chiles will host 5 live Daily in the 10:00 to 13:00 slot on Mondays and Tuesdays, with Allen hosting for the rest of the week.

Seriously, Chiles?

Dafuq?

Charlie Adam's brother is in goal for Dundee!

Is his brother as fat and gap toothed as he is?

Telegraph has learnt that the early kick-off on the opening day of the season will be Manchester United against Swansea City. BT has won the right to broadcast it.

Sky have chosen to show Manchester City against Newcastle, Liverpool against Southampton, Chelsea going to Burnley and Arsenal's match with Crystal Palace.

Only just realised that the Burnley v Chelsea match has been moved to the Monday Night Football slot.

Goddamnit. A return home at stupid-o-clock on a work night. <_<

Football was simpler when it was being played halfway around the world...
