Still bonkers. Still no idea what's going on. Still one of the best games I've played in years. From all I've heard, the third playthrough is a lot different than the first two, And based on the preview that plays at the end of the second run, I think I'm going to enjoy it a whole bunch. Love the visuals and it seems a lot more... idk "gamey" and less of an interactive movie than Heavy Rain or Beyond Two Souls were. Kara's story was my favorite, but Markus and Connor were also compelling. The flowchart was a smart idea, it let me know that my choices actually made a difference in the story. Ruki Posted May 27, 2018 Report Share Posted May 27, 2018 I've hit about the 50-60% way point of God of War I think...just finished 'The Sickness' I love that the first thing he asks when he finds out he's a god is "Can I turn into an animal?" Also...only killed one god so far...and not even a big name one! Loving the game though. The writing is fantastic, the relationship between Kratos and Atreus is very well done. I watched Yahtzee's review where he said the story REALLY didn't come together until the 3rd playthrough. That is a lot of time. I bought this and Persona 5 a few weeks ago when they were both 1/2 off on PSN, and while I've really liked Persona 5, I'm not sure I'm looking forward to a game I have to play 3 times to get the whole thing... It's absolutely worth it. Without spoiling anything, All three playthroughs are completely different. The first two follow the same quest-line but from a totally different perspective and the third is it's own thing altogether. Retroactively my game of the year last year. I've done the first opening chapter, and then the first two for Kara and Marcus (is that his name?). But so far, really enjoying it!
