BBC Sport's Alistair Magowan reports from Old Trafford: "So the question of where Juan Mata will play appears to have been solved with the return of the previously injured Robin van Persie. The Spaniard makes his debut and is likely to play behind the Dutch striker. Wayne Rooney returns from a groin problem to sit on the bench. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer makes seven changes to the team which beat Bolton in the FA Cup, as his strongest players return. In come the likes of Steven Caulker, Gary Medel, Craig Noone, Craig Bellamy and Fraizer Campbell, who, like Solskjaer, is returning to his former employers."

Norwich make one change with winger Anthony Pilkington in for the ineligible Jonas Gutierrez, who is on loan from the Magpies. Newcastle make three changes with full-back Mathieu Debuchy back from suspension, while midfielders Hatem Ben Arfa and Sammy Ameobi are also in the starting XI. Yoan Gouffran, who is injured, Yohan Cabaye, who is set to join Paris St-Germain, and defender Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa are the players who have been replaced.

Teenage striker Sam Gallagher starts for Southampton after he scored against Yeovil in the FA Cup at the weekend. There's no Jack Wilshere or Aaron Ramsey for Arsenal.

Swansea boss Michael Laudrup makes six changes from the FA Cup win over Birmingham and two from their loss to Tottenham last time out in the league. Jonathan de Guzman and Jonjo Shelvey are fit to start, while Nathan Dyer is named on the bench after being out since 15 December. Fulham manager Rene Meulensteen makes 11 changes from the side that drew with Sheffield United in the FA Cup, fielding the same side that lost to Arsenal in their previous Premier League match. However, defenders Fernando Amorebieta and John Arne Riise have failed to recover from knocks in time for tonight's trip to the Liberty Stadium.

So glad to see RVP back, and obviously, Mata starting. Awesome bench.

No bench featuring Tom Cleverley can ever be described as 'awesome'.
