It's just been announced that the Wigan/Arsenal game will be on the Saturday and the Hull/Sheffield Utd game will be on the Sunday.

Pretty sure teams don't qualify for Europe on the runner-up rule anymore? Sunderland aren't in Europe for making the League Cup Final, for instance.

Something I posted on Facebook a little while back to correct a mate...

Him: So when Sunderland get relegated that will be three years in a row a club from the championship will be playing in the Europa league.

Me: If Sunderland lose in the final, the Europa League place would go to the team placed 6th in the PL, only the FA Cup place is deferred to the losing team if the winners have already qualifed. If this happens, the FA Cup place then becomes the League Cup place (As in, they have to play in the 3rd qualifying round), the League Cup inherits the League place for the team finishing 5th (Playoff round) and the League inherits the FA Cup winners spot (Europa Group Stage). Simple really...

Also, the Wigan/Arsenal kick off is scheduled to be 5pm, which is 15 minutes after the Premier League games and shortly after the National is ran, strange that they haven't put it a bit further back.
