The Barclays Premier League Thread 2014/2015

1-1 seems fair.

No it doesn't.

Liverpool played fairly well but it was mostly in terms of getting the ball forward - where Balotelli looks like someone who still is trying to get to 100% and desperately needs a partner to support him. Everton made some good moves and had a few decent chances before their goal came. Liverpool helped them out by getting progressively deeper as the match drew to a close.

It was an improved performance by Liverpool who maybe in a couple more games will be able to see out a lead. Late goals suck but Liverpool didn't help there own cause as far as stopping that happening.

Everton did absolutely nothing of note until the 91st minute. How exactly is a draw a fair result?

Keep doing you, Hobo.

You led by one goal from a set piece, didn't trouble Howard bar that Balotelli chance, and failed to close the game out. You really can't complain about a 1-1.

‪#‎THFC‬ team: Lloris, Naughton, Kaboul ©, Vertonghen, Rose; Capoue, Mason; Chadli, Eriksen, Lamela; Adebayor

#THFC subs: Vorm, Dier, Fazio, Bentaleb, Lennon, Townsend, Soldado

Happy to see Vertonghen there. Mason is a gutsy gamble that might work out.

Not at ALL happy to see Naughton, Kaboul and Adebayor starting though.

I thought Mason couldn't play in the Prem as he wasn't part of the 25 man squad

Shhh. Don't tell the Premier League. We're cheating to get an unfair advantage today.

We'll be trying to get 13 players onto the pitch at the same time in the second half, keep an eye out for it.
