It's one PR mess for another for NYCFC lately. First Yankee Stadium, then basically wearing Man City's kits in their inaugural season, and now the player they've been building their brand around won't be around for half the season and will probably be worn out for the second half. League position wise we probably qualify at the moment, though there are multiple factors that would put anyone off Newcastle these days.

We apparently offered him the job before Rodgers and he turned it down. His brother has since said he'd be interested if Rodgers were sacked.
