Peyton Manning has been named the Broncos starter for the playoffs.

They backed themselves into that. Osweiler isn't the guy right now, Manning when healthy might be the guy. Their defense might be good enough to grind out wins at least through the rather weak AFC.

Looking through the list of coldest games on NFL.com, one thing I learned is that, for a California team, the Raiders played in a lot of cold weather games.

Of the 3 first years, Favre is a lock, T.O. probably won't get in until he's near the end of eligibility, and Faneca I'm not sure about. 

I know there aren't a ton of kickers in the HoF, but Morten Andersen definitely belongs in. Probably won't happen unless there's a year without a lot of top tier candidates.....

There's literally no reason for Owens to not get in this year.  Second in all time regular season receiving yards, third in all time regular season touchdowns.

Since the busts don't have hats, it's a moot point, but TO would be a 49er, I think that's obvious.

Dolphins hire Adam Gase as head coach on a five-year deal

Color me unimpressed with Gase. He was the Denver offensive coordinator when Peyton was still playing like Peyton. His offense in Chicago this year was alright, when you consider the injuries, but I just don't see the big hub-bub about him. I imagine the intent with this hire was to bring in someone that could potentially save Tannehill from crashing and burning.

So Cutler has already commented on Dowell Loggains being promoted to OC. A bit of continuity to the offense would be nice, though I can't say I know much about Loggains.
