No. No! Who am I to feud with? A Chiefs fan? A Chargers fan? Get out of here with that mess. You will be staying. We can co-hate the hell out of the Trojans in the college thread, but we hate each other in here, damn it.

I like the Pederson hire, because he was essentially their third choice. Gase to Miami. Coughlin would rather not even bother. Why not settle with the Reid disciple?

4th, they wanted McAdoo too.

We've announce we're keeping Caldwell. Hopefully this leads us to keeping Cooter around too.

Keeping Caldwell is probably the right move for now, even if people want to pan the move. The current crop of coaches for hire isn't all that great, not sure we'd do much better than Caldwell anyway. It works for Quinn, the locker room loves Caldwell, and it allows Quinn to focus on player transactions rather than a head coaching search. On top of that we appear to have two sharp coordinators that will likely hang around with Caldwell so that helps out as well. If Caldwell fails, you can fire him and move on after the third season, when Quinn will have already had a year of GMing under his belt.

Quinn also fired the Lions longest tenured scout (29 years..no wonder we've been shit at drafting) so that already earns a high mark in my book.

I'm seeing just as many stories that point to the Titans keeping Mike Mularkey, as nonsensical as that is.

I don't like the idea, but there really aren't a lot of coaches available that I could see being a decent replacement. Now isn't the time to take a chance with someone who has never coached before. (I mean on any level, not the NFL. Bringing in a college coach...depending on who it is....might work)

10 AFC Title game appearances in 15 years for Brady and Belichick, with the possibility of both a 7th Super Bowl trip and a 5th ring still alive.

I loathe the Pats, but it's almost impossible to fathom that we'll ever see a QB/coach duo have this much success again.

Mostly because its incredibly unlikely we'll ever see a division be as routinely inept as the AFC East has been for the entirety of Brady's career.

Fitzgerald now throws a Burfict-like shot. Maybe the NFL really ought to spend this offseason finally making a ban on shots above the shoulders or this crap could lead to something really bad.
