The interesting thing is that these teams haven't been dominating their events since the last Olympics, and many of them weren't doing so before London. It really seems as if they're able to peak at the right time.

A silver medal is definitely a great achievement for a team that doesn't regularly play together. As for Fiji, this will be the country's first medal of any kind, so this is pretty much their World Cup Final. Well, they already won the World Cup Final, but you know what I mean.

I feel kinda bad for Brazil. Usually the host country is at least somewhat competitive in the medal count (I mean, Great Britain actually finished third, for crying out loud  ), but they've won a whoppin' three medals so far.
