The Bills game against Baltimore was so annoying for me to watch. The defence looked good, but suddenly the offence just could not move the ball. They could have won that game.

Just as annoying on the other side. Yeah, Our defence held you guys to just 7 (On a relatively ballsy 4th and goal from a half yard out even) but I was sort of hoping we would score more than 13 points.

Surely we don't allow McCown to put up 400yards passing on us again this week.

Shareece Wright led the team in tackles because he let all those guys catch the damn ball.

McCown absolutely humiliated us last year and I'm dreading a repeat performance. I'm not afraid of any team's running game, but I'm extremely afraid of our secondary.

That first sentence made me cringe (CB's should not be leading the tackle count...ever)

The second one triggered my PTSD from that game.

I am appalled that @HC is using fractional points.

Every yard counts and ties are for soccer!

But actually, DYSI ran B-League with fractional points back in 2013 and I've just always kept the settings the same.

The list of Modern-Era nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2017 is comprised of 94 players and coaches. Among the nominees announced are several first-year eligible players including quarterback Donovan McNabb, running back LaDainian Tomlinson, wide receiver Hines Ward and defensive end Jason Taylor.

The list of nominees consists of 45 offensive players, 32 defensive players, six special teams players and 11 coaches. The Modern-Era nominees will be trimmed to 25 semifinalists in November and, from there, to 15 finalists in January.

Eighteen finalists will be presented to the full 48-member Pro Football Hall of Fame Selection Committee during its annual selection meeting on the eve of Super Bowl LI. The finalists will consist of 15 Modern-Era finalists, the recently named Senior Finalist, Kenny Easley, and the 2017 Contributor Finalists, Jerry Jones and Paul Tagliabue.

The Selection Committee will meet on Saturday, February 4, 2017 in Houston, Texas to elect the Class of 2017. While there is no set number for any class of enshrinees, the selection process by-laws provide that between four and eight new members will be selected.

The Senior Finalist and Contributor Finalists will be voted "yes" or "no" for election at the annual selection meeting and must receive at least 80 percent support from the Committee to be elected. The Modern Era finalists will be trimmed during the meeting from 15 to 10 and then from 10 to 5. The remaining five finalists will be voted on individually, "yes" or "no" and must receive the same 80 percent positive vote as the Senior and Contributors Finalists to earn election to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. The Class of 2017 will be announced during the "NFL Honors" nationally broadcast award show that evening.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame's Class of 2017 will be formally enshrined on Saturday, August 5, 2017. The enshrinement is one of three marquee events to be held in the spectacular new Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium during the Enshrinement Week along with the Concert for Legends and the NFL/Hall of Fame Game. The festivities kick off with the nationally televised Gold Jacket Dinner on Thursday night of Hall of Fame Week.

The annual Enshrinement Ceremony is televised nationally by the Hall of Fame's broadcast partners, NFL Network and ESPN.

I feel like if Coryell had somehow been nominated in the Contributor category, he'd have gone in ages ago.  But sinces he's being nominated as a coach, the voters are forced to look past the innovations to the passing game and focus in on his record/relative lack of postseason success and decide if that holds up with other coaches already in.  Still, I'm hoping sanity prevails and he does make it in this year.

Tagliabue, Jones, and Easley are all certainly making it.  It's very rare to be nominated for one of the special categories and not go in.

Tomlinson is the one surefire first ballot guy and at least one WR will go in like always since they need to clear out the logjam there.

Terrell Owens is the WR going in. He has to be, it's just insultive that he wasn't first-ballot.

"But durr-hurr he did push-ups on his lawn!"

Brian Dawkins should be first-ballot as well but voters hate safeties. He, Reed, and Polamalu might all have to wait a few years for no logical reason.

Yeah, I guess the hope is that it was the defences that held up, and not just two awful offences showing off their inability to move the ball.

Yeah, Pretty much.

I'd expect Shady and Watkins to not be held to that most weeks anyway, Just like I don't expect our offence to be Justin Tucker reliant again.

Plus defence wins championships so there's that
