I've seen 'woof' used as pretty much synonymous with 'rough', but I always considered it to do with the terms 'dog rough' or 'dogging it' as much as anything else.

I thought ‘woof’ was used as a term to describe something outstanding. At least James Richardson used it in that context if I recall.

Yeah, the player basically went down as Kepa went to play the ball. Couldn't be a red card. The offside thing was harsh though.
