I've also created a head to head league, where everyone plays everyone in a fixture list with 3pts for a win etc.

If anybody grew up where James McClean did then they'd be uncomfortable with God Save the Queen.

I don't particularly like standing for it either whenever I'm around it. History is pretty important where he came from and given the persecution the people in his area went through, I fully understand why he does what he does. It's not hurting anybody.

Whilst I agree in principal, he doesn't need to make a point of turning his back on it. He could just stand there and do nothing. No one is asking him to sing the national anthem, or even to respect it. But there's really no need to actively disrespect it - that's basically just screaming, "look at me, I've got a point to prove". Not the smartest idea when you're employed in England, by an English company.

Pretty sure it could've been handled better in general. When you've got someone with McClean's politics on your team you shouldn't let yourself walk into a situation like that

Swansea City are to subsidise the price of every ticket for all away fixtures in the Premier League this season.

The club intend that no adult will pay more than £22 for any away fixture this season, while concession prices will be capped at a maximum of £15 and kids at just £10.

With adult ticket prices at some grounds costing in excess of £50, the club estimate their subsidy will amount to a £300,000 saving for supporters across the 2015-16 campaign.

According to the club website, a recent study showed that Swansea fans travelled further than any others in the Premier League last season, clocking up 4,129 miles at an average of 217 miles per trip.

I just don't get what the big deal about McClean is. Everybody knows what his stance is at this point and what he did was a completely peaceful, personal protest.

Just seems like sensationalised nonsense drummed up by the media.
