I remember the Chargers in 2004 claiming they’d simply hold Eli’s draft rights forever if he refused to report to the team.  But nobody ever buys that bluff.

Yeah, the Texans COULD technically freeze Watson’s contract if he refuses to report to training camp next year, and basically force him into retirement if he doesn’t agree to return.  But that never actually happens, nor would I want to see a player like him not play again.

Well shit, some idiot reporter dropping that AP and Ginn factoid lied to me :(

Unless “AP and Ginn are the only players left from 2007” was meant to be “lol kickers aren’t people”

Be funny if AP outlasted all of them, wouldn’t put it past him.

Were Folk and Crosby drafted? That may have been what the reporter meant.
