It depends.

As I understand it, basic sky subscribers can watch on-demand stuff. Multi-room subscribers can watch live stuff as well as on demand.. So you could watch Sky Sports Xtra or whatever NFL is on and watch the game.

The BBC article on it implies that even non-sky subscribers will be able to watch so I suspect maybe they will have PPV for not only movies but perhaps football matches too?
