The excitement is building ahead of Sunday's FA Cup with Budweiser Third Round draw as the 44 teams from the Premier League and Championship enter the fray.

Chelsea legend Gianfranco Zola and ex-Everton and Sheffield United midfielder Li Tie will make the draw at Wembley Stadium shortly after the final whistle in the Sunday afternoon Second Round meeting between AFC Totton and Bristol Rovers, which is live on ITV1.

That fixture is one of 20 games this weekend as teams eye a place in the hat for the next round where they could face one of the country's 'big-boys' in a Third Round match over the weekend of 7 and 8 January 2012.

Clubs and fans will be waiting with anticipation for their team's number to be pulled out by the former the Italy and China internationals making the draw.

Holders and current Premier League leaders Manchester City will by number 24, while their rivals from Old Trafford, eleven-time winners United, are number 25. Zola's old side Chelsea, who won the last Cup Final at the old Wembley and the first at the new, will be number 12. Li Tie will be keeping a keen eye on balls 17 (Everton) and 47 (Sheffield United).

The draw will be streamed live here on TheFA.com via FATV and will also be on ITV1. You can alos follow it with us on Twitter via @thefadotcom.

I'll take a home draw and I'll be happy, I wanna win this this season it has been way too long since we won a FA Cup. I think this is our longest wait for a FA Cup since like the 60's or something like that.

Chelsea in home tie vs. lower league side FA Cup shocker. I now want Stoker to have a go, providing stats on how Utd get more. :shifty:

How can you moan about a random draw? Is it because you're going to get 'repeatedly dicked'?

This isn't FM where you get drawn against the same team you play in the league the week before the cup game. :shifty:
