Backwards compatibility on the xbone is a nice idea but I don't have any 360 games left anymore so not that fussed. It is an awesome idea, just left way too late :(

Also, not sure if I missed it...but does that mean the 360 disks will work on the XBONE?

Sounded like the XBone would download the game from the disc to your XBone.

He said you put the disc in and 'download it'. I assume he means it will install and you'll still need the disc, otherwise you could just borrow a game and add it your library.

And that new controller seems neat, the way they show off that new 'd-pad' with a fighter makes me wonder if it's micro switched or something?

Backwards compatible is a fantastic way to attract lapsed fans, those hesitant to upgrade and those who skipped the 360 altogether.

What's the deal with the new controller, what is it and why do they need a new one?
