League's gonna have to answer to how a blow to the head can be offset by anything yet purport to care about player safety. They'll also have to probably answer why Newton didn't have to pass concussion protocol after that hit as well.

A very small part of me wouldn't have minded a Panthers win just because the Giants have the distinction of being the only home team to lose the NFL Kickoff game, having done so twice since the tradition started in 2002.  But still, fuck the Panthers.
