On one hand, that's a "Well yeah, no shit" type firing. On the other, I think Louisville owes him a shit ton and Papa John isn't there to foot the bill anymore, so I wasn't sure they'd have the marbles, or moolah, to kick him to the curb. I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that they're going to back the truck up and throw money at Jeff Brohm in an attempt to "bring him home".

He didn't even get a full season after losing the best player in school history. It's a no shit decision, but I figured it would take another year or two. I'd certainly bet on them trying to get Brohm to come over from Purdue.

Watching this MD-Ohio State game. Man, Urban handles tight games about as well as a 14 year old playing Madden who accidentally unplugs the console in the 3rd quarter.

@Meacon

We did our part (Josh Kelley for Heisman!), now do your part and send the Trojans home for the holidays.

And, I guess, like, get into the playoffs or whatever.

Maryland really should have won that game against Ohio State. I almost feel like the selection committee should treat that as a loss (the polls seem to have done something like this). They've had so many close calls against bad teams this year. Even beating Michigan they'll need Georgia, Wazzu, and Oklahoma to lose. And even then I wouldn't be stunned if an undefeated UCF somehow found a way in. Meanwhile, the nightmare scenario is still in play if Bama loses to Georgia in the SEC championship.

Also, Army is ranked for the first time since the 1st Clinton administration.

Arkansas got shut out by Missouri today, which if I understand right is the first time Arkansas has been shut out since 2013 (vs. Alabama, Roll Tide).

I'm just glad I didn't take Arkansas. They were +28.5 underdogs and I was sure they'd keep it within three scores, but decided to take Oklahoma -1.5 instead and boy am I glad I did.

I think Chad Morris will get Arkansas playing better eventually. I just hope they give him a chance to build a team. I feel like they're the type to give him three years and if they're not Alabama 2.0 then he'll be out on his ass. I hope I'm wrong.

yeah, I think people give chad morris too tough a time considering this is his first year with the team. I mean, no one expected 2-10 or such an abysmal season, but still

It's kind of tough, considering Bert had built the team to be a power running offense (basically a southern Wisconsin), and now Morris is attempting to run a Clemson spread type offense. He doesn't have anywhere near the type of players he needs to run it. He has big, strong, slow players, when he really needs the speed more than anything.

Oklahoma-WVU was just wonderful last night. Sooners scored 2 defensive TDs (and forced multiple turnovers) that really was the difference since WVU was just shredding their defense otherwise. With a win over Texas, Oklahoma will be the team waiting in the wings for one of Clemson, Notre Dame, or Michigan to fall.

I’m willing to bet Michigan will fall.  They seem to always find a way to blow it against Ohio State.

Yeah I bet on Ohio State. Michigan seems so much better this year and has everything going for them that it only seems right that they choke it away.

Either way, today should be a great day for college football. :D

I also expect Michigan to lose. Mostly because we can’t seem to have nice things in Michigan sports.

Maryland ran all over the Buckeyes, the Wolverines are going to shove the run game down Ohio State's throat.

Michigan 24 Ohio State 13.

Welp, this game has gone about as predictably as possible.

I miss when this was an actual rivalry and not just Ohio State clowning Michigan year after year after year after year.

Ohio State is doing their damndest to help Michigan win. This was on the road to a route before that botch.

Notre Dame proved in week one that if you put Patterson under pressure, he shits the bed. It’s crazy that it’s taken ten weeks for another team to blitz him and scare him into mistakes.

Shocking to see Michigan blow a huge game in such embarrassing fashion. Who saw this coming!?

That Ohio State +4.5 at home may have been the easiest bet I made all year.

Well we never got this started evidently when Bob Stoops resigned from Oklahoma. So here's another sudden resignation, Hugh Freeze is out at Ole Miss.
It's *probably* related to a phone call he made to an escort service back in 2016 that was found during discovery for Houston Nutt's civil suit against the university. However, he claims he never dialed that number on purpose. This combined with the storm clouds of scandal meant he was probably getting fired eventually anyway. To save face he resigned.
