Premier League 2023/24

It looks as though the relegation battle is over. As it stands, Luton need to win their last game with a massive goal swing from Forest. Forest just need to avoid getting thrashed in their last two matches.

Illustrates how wide the gap is getting between the Premier League and the rest too. Ipswich have a hell of a job on next season.

This is largely what I feel is going on. It seems that a club can't keep all but the very, very best players who got it promoted should they want to stay in the Premier League.

What an awful game of football. Lucky if it was in play for a single half, bookings on both sides for diving, multiple stoppages for "cramp". And it cost me £200 on my acca, got all the other PL games right.

Agreed. Everyone was talking up Kompany’s Burnley last season much like Ipswich are being talked about this.

They'll definitely find it difficult, especially considering a lot of their players were in League One last season.

Big fan of Tottenham boiling Arsenal fans piss by doing their lap of honour in yesterday's game

"They're throwing in the towel before the City game!"

Man Utd's lineup, especially the bench, looks like when you play FM with fake players. Who are these people?

Might be easier to just point out the areas of Old Trafford that are dry at this point.

Just seen that, what an odd thing to do. Is the excuse that it's too late to do it after a night game?

It's kind of two fold, while it would have been very late after an evening game. It's much simpler than that though. As of the final whistle on Saturday. There was a chance that Manchester City would be winning the league there midweek (unlikely, relied on Manchester United being competent but possible) which meant that rather than having to rush the champions celebrating off the pitch so they could have Oliver Skipp having a walk around the pitch so people could get home at a sensible time.

Upsetting Arsenal however makes the whole thing brilliant accidental shithousery.

Burnley dominated the Championship last season, but didn't bring in better players over the summer. Their fans can only be disappointed in how it's gone.
