I read a BBC Sport article providing a 'countdown of Mourinho's priorities at Man Utd'. It was a riveting insight. To summarise:

10. Sell bad players

9. Have an opinion on Juan Mata

8. Have an opinion on Ryan Giggs

7. Be liked

6. Play youth

5. Play good football

4. Be better than Guardiola

3. Keep De Gea

2. Buy good players

1. Win things

By jove, I think McNulty's on to something.

Be liked - I don't think that's ever been a priority for Mourinho. If it has been, he's been doing it wrong <_<

Phil McNulty being a football writer is like having a film critic who only likes films starring Barney the Dinosaur. Writes like Barney the Dinosaur too.

I would be surprised if Giggs stays, and if he does, I doubt it'll be for long. If he wants to be a manager, he'll need to go elsewhere. I can't see United handing it straight to him, post Mourinho. And yes, I'm thinking that far ahead already, because football.
