If I had my pick, I'd go for Simeone. The squad has plenty of talent, it's tactics and mentality that causes the problems. He'd make us hard to break down, if nothing else.

Simeone would be an excellent appointment - and with his shortened Atletico contract very much available - but would Arsenal fans accept such a dramatic departure from the Wenger style? I'd imagine if he won things it wouldn't matter much but he'll need time to turn your squad around.

There's been a number of names linked - at home Eddie Howe is thought of highly amongst the Arsenal higher ups as is Ronald Koeman (although he may think Everton might have a brighter future than Arsenal). Tuchel at Dortmund and RBL's Ralph Hasenhuttl have been linked, as have Sampaoli - the Copa America winning former Chile coach who's on a two year deal at Seville, Monaco's Jardim and some mad twat who writes from the Times was saying they should go for Poch, which would be an interesting ride at the very least.

I can't see Simeone at Arsenal, there's literally not a player in the squad that has the grit, determination or discipline to play his style.

I thought Xhaka could be that kind of player but he's far too reckless. Vista had a controlled brutality to his game, Xhaka is just a Swiss Charlie Adam or Lee Cattermole.
