I'd take just about anything over reverting to bloody 4-2-3-1 again. Seriously: it could be 4-4-fucking-2 or WM or even 2-3-5. Why the hell not.

Libero style sweeper in a flat back four, defensive fragility covered by a DM/CM staying back, whilst 3 of your four defenders roam upfield, because who even defends any more out of the managers on the cutting edge of 'innovation'? Just buy the best keeper possible and accept that sometimes you'll concede.

Well, Cech should've saved that one. You could argue that despite failing to take control for the first goal, he wouldn't have kept it out even if he'd stayed on his line, but that one was definitely on him.
