Yea, there's no reason to move the game to week 11. I believe it was Chris Long who had an idea yesterday to move the game to a neutral site, lower the ticket prices a bit, and give all the money to the hurricane recovery.

My sources tell me the NFL doesn't make any money off of money given to hurricane relief, thus fuck it.

I hope this situation pushes the NFL to look at having two bye weeks in the future but I know it won't.

The NFLPA needs to come in hard with a 2 bye week proposal. Gives the NFL that extra week of TV they crave as well. But the fact these teams are playing 16 straight weeks is absurd. In 08 the Ravens had to play 15 straight weeks due to a hurricane causing the week 2 game against Houston to get moved. You'd figure at that point the league would have looked into proper contingency plans.

The next NFL lockout is gonna be ugly.

Kidding aside, I'm sure he wasn't the only black person around. Not giving the officers an excuse for why they did what they did, but him using color for why he was singled out, right after a giant fight like that in Vegas just seems off to me.

I never said it wasn't unbelievable. I just find it hard to believe that he was singled out because he was black. You're telling me that after a fight like that, in Vegas, Bennett was the only black person running out of that casino after hearing gun shots? I hope he is able to sue and get the justice that he deserves because nobody should be treated like that, black or white.

But, I hate the fact that he's using his color as the reason why he was singled out and treated that way.

Of course it had to do with him being black. Just because they didn't make all the black people get on the ground doesn't mean he wasn't picked out because he was black.

So what made him special then? Something had to spook the police to give them a reason to go after him, out of everybody else. Police are human, they make mistakes too.I'm not agreeing with how they went about their business and what was said to him, but he's making this a part of his agenda. i really hope that he's able to file his civil lawsuit and get to the bottom of it.

He was black and large? I mean I think you might be giving these officers too much credit

Not sure where to post this so I'll drop it here.  Quite an awkward piece of radio driving in today as Boomer had to announce that his radio partner of 10 years had been arrested for involvement in a Ponzi scheme.

Whatever. I'm on his side that he was treated wrong and believe that he deserves justice for it. If the officers singled him out because of who he is and his race, they're in the wrong. But I'm not going to just 100% take his word that he wasn't giving them a reason to act the way they did until it's said what the officers were seeing.
