Yeah - I was texting @Adam es Tranquilo about how fucking awful it looked during yesterday's game. 

 

Maybe now - with a stroke of luck and that pitch being the way it is - we'll manage to defy the odds and only lose 2-0 rather than 4-0.

Every now and then in the background during Skys NFL coverage last night you'd see people with forks and stuff on the pitch but there was no way the pitch was going to be in good playable condition for tonight. Not going to be a great footballing game tonight you'd think.

Only got himself to blame - Spurs asked to switch the fixtures...

You can also blame the fact that Tottenham were saying that the stadium would have been done by now but then contractors were doing half a job and having a cheeky stripe instead of working. 

Basically fault on both sides really. Gives him an excuse though I suppose.
