I know we're only a few games into the season, but it's so weird to see Harden leading the league in scoring at 41 PPG and Durant leading in rebounding at 15.5 RPG.

I forgot to do predictions so I'll get them in now.

The East looks awful this year. LeBron or Wade could go down with a season ending injury next week and Miami would still be the favorites to win the conference.

Lakers just fired Mike Brown. I was watching Sportcenter and there was a rumor he would be fired if the homestand went bad so I flipped the channel and came back 4 minutes later and he was fired.

D'Antoni isn't amazing, but there's no way he's a downgrade from MIKE BROWN...

Ideally, Phil would come back, but that's not happening...at least the lakers are doing something.

I think they should call Jerry Sloan.

If the Lakers hire 'Antoni, they'll just end up firing him after they get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Other than Thibs, there is no one else I can think of who would be a worse fit with that roster's age. Given that he only plays 7 or 8 guys and some guys end up in his doghouse for no reason, it would be hard to imagine him not running the starters into the ground just to get a good seed.

Plus the fact that he's a terrible defensive coach and that's what the Lakers weakness is (beside the Princeton offense of course). He's a great offensive mind, but Kobe, Dwight, Nash, and Pau could put up 80-90 PPG by themselves for any coach.
