It came out today that the Giants have interviewed Justin Herbert multiple times.

It's one of two things (very possibly both).  1) a practice Joe Judge picked up from Belichick, the Pats reportedly interview and do extensive research on all of the top QB prospects every year and gain early intel on them for when they eventually play.  and 2) a way too obvious smokescreen since it's pretty widely known that the Giants are willing to trade down, they're trying to tempt the Dolphins or Chargers to move up.

That said, if Gettleman actually drafts Herbert, he should be fired before the end of the night.  That would mean they passed on a Pro Bowl pass rusher in Josh Allen to draft Daniel Jones....and that they're dumping their supposed QB of the future after one season despite him showing promise, most notably in a 5 TD come from behind win over Washington that directly resulted in them losing Chase Young, likely to a division rival.  So they'd once again be starting over at QB and still have no pass rush or OL.  It would be the worst thing this franchise has ever done.

Most Eagle fans can’t spell Philadelphia. It’s why they take so much pride in being able to spell Eagles.

Yikes. Who hurt you?

Michael Lombardi is reporting that the 49ers have made Dee Ford, Kwon Alexander, Marquise Goodwin, and Jaquiski Tartt available for trade.

Kinda bizarre. I know they're approaching a Rams situation shortly but they're loaded up on draft picks as is so doing turnover should theoretically be pretty easy for them.

It's when you trade away your picks like LA did that you run into real trouble by lacking young drafted players on rookie contracts to slide in.

I heard that although it glitched on Cincinnati's pick, the order was actually randomized and Dallas had the first pick. Nonetheless - hopefully they work out all the kinks now.

This sounds fine they should roll with it

Could turn out to be a decent selection there, Lineker. We'll have to see how it plays out on the field.

Also isn't the '89 draft the one with Aikman? Where like four of the first five or five of the first six ended up Hall of Famers? What a crazy year.

Yeah. Aikman, Sanders, Thomas, Sanders were all in the top five - plus Atwater at #20.

Maxx, i agree with you. I know the stripes are supposed to be a throwback to their old Patriot Pat helmet uniforms, but they do look bad on the white jerseys. Should have white trim in between the red and blue on the stripes.
