Unless he's making things difficult, I don't know why they wouldn't just play it out and then tag him. They have some flexibility to allow it to play out a bit more than panicking and trading him unless they get a Godfather offer. 

Also Dov isn't a reliable source, he just aggregates things people say. The thing he meant to quote was just speculation, not even a real report on what will happen.

Jerry must've looked at what he accomplished with the Seahawks in 2018.....and ignored the rest of his career. Not a good hire, unless they're planning to trade Dak for Russell Wilson and keep their fingers crossed.

The only two known finalists for the Cardinals job are Lou Anarumo and Mike Kafka.

I’ll be slightly annoyed if Kafka is hired.  Mostly because it’s an eye rolling “young white offensive genius” hire but also because it would just be so typical to lose a coordinator the second the team looks respectable.  Tough to build continuity.

That said, with Daboll in charge I’m not really concerned about an offensive nosedive and think he’ll find the right playcaller for his scheme.

After watching the Bengals defense the last two years I don't know how teams aren't tripping over themselves to hire Anarumo. Guy has made Eli Apple a good CB.

Just realized that based on the Super Bowl being how late it is now, it's on track to be on Valentines Day in 2027.  With the game kicking off basically right at the most popular time for dinner reservations.

The argument stories are going to be wild.
