Deliberate handball taking it away from the opponent has to be a yellow card but the referee isn't going to make that decision, especially against certain clubs. Maybe the next infringement would have seen him in trouble but he made sure Liverpool could make the change so he wouldn't need to risk doing something. The standard of officiating just keeps getting worse and worse.

 

Does mean an interesting last quarter of an hour with it being a bit more open now.

When you score early it can get comfortable. So this game did, apart from a bit of a bright patch for Swansea in the second half. 2 good DeGea saves in like 20 seconds.

Cringed a little when Sophie on MUTV was reading out the post game emails and when she came across one from Sydney she put on an accent and said "G'day mate"

How come the Man Utd game was live on Sky? I thought legally you couldn't show 3pm Saturday games, even if it's a Bank Holiday weekend.

Could be from the Irish feed, maybe. 3pm live games are fine there.

Yep. We get a 3pm game on Sky every week. 

Best part is a generic studio with just Hayley McQueen and an uninterested Niall Quinn/Clinton Morrison or random pundit with a minor Irish association for analysis.
