Spurs' defence went missing at half time, it's been bizarrely incompetent second half. Liverpool carving them open very easily and punishing. Could have been 5/6

Tottenham have been very poor and essentially been without Kane gote much of it, but this has been a massive, massive performance for Liverpool so far tonight.

Can't argue with that, Liverpool the better side and punished some terrible defending in the second half. Turned into a stroll in the park.

It's a big relief that. Hopefully Matip going off was just precautionary but Mane and Bobby getting a goal, Trent's crossing looked a lot better and Salah got one (despite it being ruled out) are all big pluses. 

Thought we dominated the game really for large parts. It's the sort of win we needed and I thought coming into these run of games (including the United FA Cup match) against tougher opposition might give us the perfect opportunity to play our way back into form. 

Gotta beat West Ham though on Sunday, no point finally getting a win today against one team near us if we can't follow it up with another

Both disallowed goals last night are shambolic. Son's highlights how completely out of touch the current offside guidelines are, and Salah's once again indicates how English referees don't even know what the fucking rules are. IFAB have clarified that the handball would have had to immediately resulted in a goal/assist or it doesn't count as an infringement. This is the state of English football. The referees have all the time in the world, get to look at a million fucking replays and angles, and still don't even know the rules. It's farcical.
