I read a book once where the QB got hurt, but refused to come out of the game. He couldn't throw the ball, so they ran it every play. Can we do that with Purdy instead of having Johnson on the field?

Yeah that fumble is probably the game. San Francisco has to come out and pass now. Instead of down just a score but getting the ball back to start the half, it's two TDs. Huge momentum shift. 

Reddick is also definitely better than Parsons and people need to admit it

Niners DBs are completely locking down Smith and Brown. If SF could get anything working on offense they'd be right in this, instead they spotted Philly a full 7.

To have all four QBs on your roster injured at the same time is insanely bad luck. Fair play to Purdy for going back in, but I doubt he's going to throw anything other than the shortest of passes, if any passes at all, and the Eagles are going to be sat waiting for every screen or run.

The Eagles defense is really good, but going from a team that quite literally cannot throw the football to either Mahomes or Burrow is gonna be quite a shock to the system.

As soon as Purdy got hurt I dropped $50 on Eagles at I think -10.5. Even that I knew would be easy money.

End of the day, Eagles have scored 28 against the best defense in the league and sure there are some factors helping them but the way they've managed to just bully SF up front on run plays has been incredible. They'd have probably won without any injury to Purdy.

Trying to think of how many GMs have made Super Bowls with different coaches and QBs. Ozzie Newsome and Howie Roseman are the only ones that come to mind.

Disappointing way to end the season. Hopefully next year we can have better luck with the health of our QBs.
