I think about what Lawrence and the Jags did last week and I cannot conceive of this Cowboys team ever, ever, ever coming back from that big of a deficit in the second half.  I doubt they would even have scored more than 1 TD in that situation.

I hate to say it, but neither one of these teams are beating Philly next week. 😕

This 49ers defense typically has issues with mobile QBs so I wouldn't be surprised but I also wouldn't be surprised if their pass rush is just better for seemingly no reason against a better line.

Gonna be quite the battle, though and I think it's at least appropriate that it's these two teams in the NFCC Game.

I have no idea what to think of the 49ers QB situation except for I'm just enjoying the ride.

Purdy is your starter next year for sure.  You keep Lance around on the off chance this year was a fluke, but I see him getting shipped off as soon as another team’s starting QB goes down.

The thing with Lance is SF has a good chunk of dead money if they get rid of him next year. 2024 is a moot point, same cap hit on the roster or not.

The reason I know this is Raven fans have toyed with Lance as our "well if we have to" guy to go trade for, but SF can't reasonably get rid of him next year. So he'll sit it out behind Purdy, if Purdy comes back to earth maybe replace him. Honestly a good place to be if you're SF.

I'm more interested in what happens with Jimmy G. Raiders? Bucs? A back up somewhere? Depending on what kind of contract he wants, 49ers could potentially sign him as a third string QB.  As upset as I still want to be at the Lance pick (unless Lance wins a Super Bowl, I will never get over drafting him instead of Chase or Parsons), we are in a great spot at QB.

I honestly do love the Brock Purdy story. I think that the Eagles are too good to allow the 49ers to beat them, but would love it if they won and went to the SB. At this point I'm hoping it's Bengals vs 49ers and I'd be happy with either team winning.

Jimmy G to the Jets makes too much sense to not happen.

  • BEARS GET: The 4th overall pick (which is used on taking Alabama pass-rusher Will Anderson), Indy’s 2nd round pick (35th overall), the Colts’ 3rd-rounder (79th overall), and a 2024 1st-round pick.
  • COLTS GET: The 1st overall pick (which is used to choose Kentucky QB Will Levis) and a Bears 4th-round selection (pick No. 102)

Saw this hypothetical and I mean it looks good to me. This a realistic haul and do you think it could happen?
