I'm with Srar. I honestly think there is nothing wrong with Washington Football Team. You know whatever those corny-ass, old, white men come up with is going to be just as lame as Commanders. 

Also GhostMachine suggesting they go back to the racist imagery makes me ashamed to call him a Yankee fan.

I will say, a ton of people I know did not buy Football Team merch because they knew a "real" nickname was coming. They walked around in racist name attire for 2 years, then finally got the Commanders and bought all the merch. It would be hilarious for the new owners to go "lol jk".

It was already weird when they went with the name Tennessee Oilers for a few years. And weirder that when the expansion team was awarded to Houston they weren't able to get back the Oilers name.

I figure they’ll at least adopt that logo again full time, since it’s easy enough to just toss that on the helmet.  A small simple thing that would be a big improvement.

But it’s the Jets, so there’s just as good of a chance that they just throw “JETS” on there in comic sans.
