And the Chiefs get the fastest receiver in the draft, of course.  Nice to see Buffalo hammering in the nails on their closed Super Bowl window with that trade.

I am hoping Jayden Daniels does well here in DC. We need to build a line to protect him.

Really happy with the Lions pick. He seems both a baller and an all round top dude.

I really hope that the rest of the 49ers draft picks are offensive linemen and cornerbacks. I'm guessing that drafting a wide out in the first rounds signals the end for either Deebo or Aiyuk is this off-season or next.

Tony Kahn is on NFL network talking about taking the Meltzer Driver. The ticker said "Tony Kahn hit with Meltzer Driver".

He literally said "its one the most dangerous moves in pro wrestling, its banned in Tennesee". lol

Edit - Oh my god, he said that WWE is the Harvey Weinstein of pro wrestling. This is so unhinged.

One step forward, two steps back with that interview Tony, jesus christ.   Way to nuke whatever goodwill was coming out from this silly bit.

It always feels lazy to just post Trevor Dame’s thoughts instead of my own but

Was Tony unhinged in that interview?  Sure.  Is it gonna actually hurt AEW in any way?  Almost certainly not.

For as great as AEW have done there’s little evidence they’ve actually expanded their audience beyond the very loyal base they’ve had since the beginning and that’s clearly been more than enough to get them by.  By and large the people who still watch AEW are only gonna stop watching if the booking sucks, not because their owner went on an unhinged ramble.

Cringe?  Sure but again it’s not gonna hurt them at all as they weren’t gonna gain or lose any fans from this.

My only annoyance is it’s now gonna set off more discourse from the usual people who shit on everything AEW does.  But they’d have found something else to say about AEW anyway.  You’ve got podcasters twisting themselves into pretzels trying to explain why they thought Danielson vs Ospreay sucked.  This just gives them easier ammo to focus on.

I just think someone needs to smarten Tony up to the business. You simply can't say things like that when you're the face of a company!

(you find a washed-up wrestler with a podcast who has no qualms about being hated by the internet if it drives listenership numbers and have them say things like that in return for, I dunno, a battle royale spot on All In)

It was completely unnecessary and tone-deaf, and it doesn't do much to make Tony's detractors look wrong. I already said my piece in The Ring where it probably belongs, anyway.

Really loving the Raider's draft thus far. I wouldn't be surprised if Bowers turns out to be the best player in the draft, he has that type of talent, and JPJ should slot right in at guard before moving to center in a few years when Andre James contract is up. Now, if the Raiders can keep drafting well in the later rounds like they have the last few years, things could really come together.
