As much as it might suck to lose out on Dead Rising 3...I think the PS4 has won it for me.

Huh, I called the 'one free game at launch' thing.

And some indies games to boot! What a steal!

I'm not convinced multiplayer is PS+ only. Seems like poor wording rather than anything else. Though, even if it is, that's not that bad. It'll make the transition for the 360 guys all that easier.

If they come with a cheaper price this is almost 100% for me. Like Ruki said it sucks missing Dead Rising 3 but I'll play that in 5 years when I get an Xbone

I would think that PS+ is needed for some titles and not all.

Well the PS4 doesn't force a device like the $100 Kinect on you so the price shouldn't be more expensive.

They took the good bit of Borderlands and ditched all the boring stuff! Genius.

I'm going to watch that part where they murderized Microsoft about 20 more times tonight.

It would be a slight knock on the service after however many years of Sony themselves and it's fans being all 'We're free! Xbox Live suckers!'

But it's still a great package and I've always defended Xbox Live because it is a very reasonable cost spread out over the year. Not to mention if you can pick it up cheaper than it's RRP via re-sellers, which I assume Sony will keep up with into this gen with PS+ and PSN gift cards etc.

That and the lack, so far, of a price are the only things I can say against it. If they'd gone through that whole speech and said 'And multiplayer is STILL free. AND we're only $400!' then it would really have been game over.

To that end, I know this is a big title and all, but I think it would have made for the craziest end to the show if that 'Xbox knockout' had gone last. Unless they have something just as big to end like undercutting the Xbox's price.
