That is a damn shame. Especially because it stemmed from exhibition basketball. If it was during the season, then okay, but in a meaningless game is harsh. If only the Pacers still had Stephenson - this could've been his year to blow up on a major market team.

Deadspin featured an article looking at the differences between international play and the stanchion at the Pacers' home court. Approximately a 2' difference, if memory serves.

NBA players still careen into the media and stanchion no matter what. The whole thing needs a redesign, this isn't the first injury caused by this.

As expected, Kevin Love is going to Cleveland. He agreed to terms on a 5-year deal and he will be traded for Andrew Wiggins, Anthony Bennett, and a pick.

The deal can't be officially announced until 30 days after Wiggins signed his deal.

I feel sorry for Wiggins. He seemed genuinely happy to be there, and having to deal with trade rumors that early in his career must've been hell. LeBron coming back just changes the game, and the Cavs have to capitalize on that title window. At least he's going to a place where he can be a focal point and develop.
