2015 NFL Off Season Thread

Looks like Vick might be donning the black and yellow following Gradowski breaking his thumb. Surely they'd be better off waiting to see who the Eagles cut?

Also, re: Hayne.

I expect Reggie Bush and Carlos Hyde to share RB1 duties. Kendall Hunter and Mike Davis will be behind them.

If Hayne is kept on it will be as the punt returner.

What may work in Hayne's favour is that Vernon Davis was doing some full back work, so they'll likely only keep Miller on as the sole FB and keep Millard out of the squad, which may open a roster spot up.

I think it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that Hayne makes the team. He's flashed too much ability. If Hunter were at all healthy and playing, it might be a different story but the fact that he hasn't taken the field yet suggest to me that they'll probably run with Hyde, Bush and Davis as the main RBs with Hayne serving as emergency RB/special teamer. Especially if Ellington ends up sliding into the WR3 spot because they'll probably want to limit what he does as a returner.

Yeah, if he doesn't make the team, someone is scooping him up.  He's shown tons of ability for someone learning the game at the NFL level.  Pains me to say it, but I bet Chip Kelly could find really interesting ways to use a player like him.  Then again, so could someone like Sean Payton.  But I don't think the Niners will let him go.

To be fair, the Niners can't afford to let anyone go at this point......

I've seen a few people suggest that RG3 go to the Cowboys next year. To that, I say `AW HELL NAW!'. I do not want RG3 in a Cowboys uniform, unless its as a member of the practice squad. Same goes for Johnny Football. Griffin's next team should be in Canada, unless he's willing to realize he's backup material right now.

Orlando Scandrick may have a torn ACL. What is it with ACL tears this year?

Maxx may have to join me in injury club, although Livid and Thrilla probably have it worst considering they lost half of their team by choice.

Quite liking the opening choices of Sunday games! Always fun watching the Bears get smashed. :P
