The Ravens list of guys on IR is outrageous this year.  Also outrageous is that every game they've played has been within 8 points, an NFL record.  We were joking if they somehow blowout an opponent this year the Ravens could finish like 5-11 with a positive point differential.

But just what a tough year, and he might not be back for the start of next season either.

To be fair, the Ravens were sort of bound to fall apart a bit at some point.  At least you got a Super Bowl before it happened, and they're a team that will use a high draft position to rebound pretty quickly.

I think the Cards could have made the Superbowl last year if Paler didn't get hurt. That 3rd stringer they had playing against Carolina was horrifically bad.

I agree, not just Palmer but the injuries overall were a nightmare last year, and really cost the team the year before. Having to resort to Ryan Lindley in the play offs was soul destroying.

St. Louis wide receiver Stedman Bailey was involved in a shooting incident on Tuesday, a Rams source confirmed to NFL Media's Michael Silver.

Bailey was shot in Miami Gardens, Fla., while sitting in a car with family. According to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, someone pulled up and started shooting, per a source informed of the incident. Bailey was hit twice in the head. The driver -- his cousin -- was hit several times and has life-threatening injuries, per Rapoport.

Bailey is in stable condition with non-life threatening injuries and cooperating with police. He is scheduled to undergo surgery on Wednesday.

The shooter is unknown.

The St. Louis Rams released a statement late Tuesday: "We are aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident this evening. We have spoken with Stedman and he is in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition. We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more."

The Rams wideout is currently serving a four-game suspension for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy. St. Louis drafted him with the No. 92 pick of the 2013 NFL Draft out of West Virginia.

Denver fans won't see Peyton Manning in a Broncos uniform before mid-December. Manning will spend at least the next week in a walking boot. Once he sheds the boot, he will begin rehabilitation for the plantar fascia tear in his foot. Seeking depth due to Manning's extended absence, the Broncos are expected to work out former Vikings quarterback Christian Ponder on Wednesday.

Twickenham game should be brilliant... and now I've said that out loud watch it be someone shitty like San Diego.

Funnily enough, the rumoured game for Twickers is Jags @ Chargers.

For Wembley, the rumours are:

Packers at Redskins
Colts at Jaguars
Eagles at Bengals

Packers/Skins would be by itself, whereas the Twickers game would see the first of three weekends in a row seeing games in London.

True enough. I think the Bengals one comes from the fact they've got it written into their stadium deal that they are allowed to give one up - not sure where the choice of the Eagles as opponents comes from.

We know the jags are over here at least for one game, so would make sense if they played an away game here too. Move it to Twickers so that it isn't seen as a 'homefield'  advantage for the Jags.

Yeah, the Jags will being doing a back to back run at Twickers and Wembley as it is a further test of the capability of one team being over here permanently, especially as it seems likely that a UK based team would end up splitting their three games between at least three stadiums (Wembley, Twickenham and the Levy's Played A Blinder Stadium).

I'd definitely end up going for the Packers and the Bengals if those two teams came over.
