It's really not. He could rebound with a change of scenery and not be completely terrible but he's not close to the player he used to be. 

Also, it really seems like Kaepernick is going to be benched. Tomsula didn't even try to defend him when asked earlier and said they're "evaluating everyone".

Eh, it's a good pick up for Denver. They really need to get Manning a TE weapon for the redzone going into the second half of the season.

They were just talking about Gabbert's hair. 

And yeah, it's been time for awhile. I've been supportive of Kaepernick in the past but he's regressed a lot and the team's not going anywhere so might as well cut their losses now.

In one of my other leagues, I got Russell Wilson on the bye.  My choices this week: Geno Smith, Nick Foles, Johnny Manziel, Blaine Gabbert, Matt Cassel.

 

Ugh, this is gonna be rough.  Right now I have Foles, but I'm thinking of dropping him for Geno.
