They're doing that because the NFL moved things to Thursday. It's all a chain reaction from Goodell's desire to have the NFL on every night of the week. If we could just get him and Trump in the same place at the same time...

Fire Roger Goodell. Drew Magary was talking about it in his weekly NFL Dick Joke Jamboroo column, and he's not wrong. The NFL won't suffer without Roger Goodell. They'll hire another guy and move on with life, and that other guy can't be any more of a dipshit than Goodell. 

Also, I dunno where else to put this but since a lot of his hot takes are about football, I'll put it here: Bill Simmons' HBO show won't be back next season.

Rex Ryan went to Game 7 of the World Series. He sat in the regular seats with normal people to cheer on his Cubs.

Giants D really showing up today with some big time turnovers - if only our offense had any consistency to it.

Really? I've thought the exact opposite. You all held Philly to ten first half points but that's because of a missed and blocked field goal. They're moving the ball well on you guys. 

And offensively you all put twenty-one points on the board in the first half and have been converting third downs left and right on this drive.

Well we've allowed some big plays but we've also gotten four turnovers (2 INTs/2 4th down stops) that we got 2 TDs off of. They haven't really ran well on us so I call it a win thus far.

Giants lead by 5 at the 2 minute warning against a team they never beat.  This can't possibly end well.
