Honestly that was still a borderline-shameful performance by the Ravens. To go even with that putrid level of a Cleveland effort for a half is just...sheesh. Nasty stuff.

I watched the 6-minute highlights package the network uploads for the game. Obviously it only shows the big plays, but it certainly looked like, while Kessler was having a sub-par game it was still a 'safe' one turn over wise. McCown looked like hot garbage.

Thursday Night games...Goodell please leave thursday night games in 2016. the matchups tend to suck, and not just suck, i mean fucking putrid. I can usually watch any NFL team go at it, but Thursday night games take the cake for shitfests. Monday night games are mostly miss, but this past week was a very good one and they usually have a couple of good games a year.

Thursday is terrible for a lot of reasons but the biggest is the 3 days of rest these teams get. It just defies a lot of the logic about football, it's a physical sport and guys need a week to rest between games.

Should really be two bye weeks in a season and only have the Thursday night games where teams are coming off a bye.

Beyond the physical ramifications for the players, TNF over-saturates the game for me. Now there's never a day where you can't talk about last night's game or tomorrow night's game. I'm sure that was exactly the intent but it's more of a negative than a positive as far as I'm concerned.
