I feel as though Noble’s workrate and determination need a big downgrade in the next FM.

To be fair to him, the play is past him and the striker is now running at his centre-backs, one versus two (nearer one versus five with him and the full-backs), it's not his job in that situation to bust his arse and try and attempt a tackle from behind, one of the centre-backs should be at least trying to delay or dictate the opponent, neither do and the tackle attempts are woeful.

I actually thought with the signings they made this Summer, West Ham could be in with a good shout of 'best of the rest' and finish seventh, but it's become apparent inside two games that the spine of the team and the defensive unit is absolutely rotten.

Yeah that's not at all on Mark Noble there. I mean, he could've made an effort to get back but he was probably better holding his position to receive the ball when one of the four defenders take it. You could argue he should've been positioned better originally so as not to have let the striker get the ball in a position he can run at the defence but it's not on him to track back there

Either Noble's positioning or his awareness was awful there, but what is that defence doing? Comical defending.

Interesting hearing the diverse opinions on this Man Utd podcast about the Spurs game and beyond. 

One host predicted a boring draw, an eventual 3rd place finish and Jose still being the manager at season's end.

Another simply predicted a Utd win.

The final one said we'd lose to Spurs, the players would show a complete lack of interest and Jose would be gone by Monday.
