The NFLPA advised its players today that training camp rosters are expected to be set at 80, 10 less than previous years.  Most teams are at 90 right now, so that’s up to 320 players losing their jobs before taking a single practice snap.

I was all for cutting down to two preseason games, though I understand why they are going with none at all.

That said, the Giants are installing a new defensive scheme with a whole bunch of young players so yeah, I expect the Giants defense to be even more of a dumpster fire than usual to start out the season.

This season is likely to really favor the teams that didn't have a large amount of roster turnover.

Given the severity of that injury I’m not sure he SHOULD ever play again despite being cleared to.  But I’m thrilled for him that he made a full recovery from something so gruesome.

Chiefs guard Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, who is also a doctor and has been working the frontline of the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, is the first known NFL player to opt-out of the season.

Some people are talking about the Seahawks giving up two first-round draft picks as if it's a loss for them, which is a bold assumption that the Pete Carroll/John Schneider Seahawks would actually make a first-round pick that would ever make fans happy.
