For most of the last year, as much as I hated people acting like it was a big joke and ignoring protocols, the schadenfreude from them getting it was minimal because they put countless people at risk.

The more I read about how minimal the risk is for the vaccinated, and how the rollout has gotten to the point where your only excuse for not having one is you didn’t want to get it...fuck ‘em.  This dipshit has it coming.

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Vikings rookie defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman was one of several victims wounded during a shooting in Washington, D.C., on Monday, according to a statement from the team.

Twyman was in a vehicle when he was shot four times, his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told ESPN's Adam Schefter. He's expected to make a full recovery.

"Wrong place, wrong time," said Rosenhaus, who told ESPN that Twyman was in Washington visiting an aunt. "In talking to him today, he's going to be OK -- that's all that matters. We're thankful he's OK. He will make a full recovery."

The 21-year-old suffered superficial exit wounds and will not need surgery, according to Rosenhaus.

The Vikings said they are in direct contact with Twyman and his family and are "extremely thankful Jaylen is expected to make a full recovery."

Minnesota drafted Twyman with the 199th pick in May. Before opting out of the 2020 season, Twyman became the first interior defensive lineman to lead Pitt in sacks (10.5 in 2019) since Aaron Donald achieved the same feat six years prior.

Eli Manning has rejoined the Giants organization, where he'll be focusing on business operations and fan engagement.  Not an unusual thing for teams to give their legends an office job.

He'll also receive a ceremony during Week 3 to induct him into the team's Ring of Honor and formally retire his #10 jersey.

NFL approves alternate helmets for throw back uniforms starting in 2022.

People on Twitter post a bunch of pictures of throwback helmets they want to see that teams either already wear or could already wear because it’s just changing the sticker on their current helmet.

Looks like it was some Body Armor marketing thing but all the league's TEs banding together to vote for which one of them is the toughest or whatever would also be extremely on brand.

TE University is a thing Kittle, Kelce and Greg Olsen put together that I'm sure they approached or were approached by sponsors to help foot the bill. Charmin was also involved lol.

From what I read they had at least 49 guys out there which is impressive for a first time thing.
